Policy Board

Background

​

The Policy Board acts as the official decision-making body of the MMMPO. It consists of elected and appointed officials from member local governments, agencies, and organizations in the Greater Morgantown area

Policy Board Meetings are held at the City Hall Chambers at 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV. Meetings are shown on public access television (Morgantown’s Channel 14) and also streamed live on the MPO's YouTube Channel.

The Policy Board reviews and approves core products such as the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). These documents establish the short and long-term priorities for the use of federal transportation funds for projects and plans across the area, regardless of travel mode or jurisidiction.
